Meet the Artists

Ruben

Ruben CarrilloArtist Ruben Carrillo is now offering his services to art lovers everywhere. If you are looking to start an art collection or supplement your already existing collection, Ruben Carrillo's work is an excellent choice. Ruben's collection of Oil Orchid Art is featured in his portfolio. Orchids are one of my favorite subjects. Their unique shapes, vivid colors, intricate patterns, as well as their alluring scents have inspired me to portray them in their abundant natural beauty. The Missouri Botanical Garden has featured Ruben's work in the Gate Shop during the Botanical Garden annual Orchid Show.

In Ruben Carrillo’s Art and Photographs, he seeks to capture the beauty of nature, objects and places. In his paintings his use of different mediums; oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel allows him to express himself in different ways.

Although Mr. Carrillo is self taught he participates in workshops with artists he admires. He is also a member of the Greater St. Louis Artist Association.
